Website redesigns.
Sharper structure,
better results.

I redesign outdated, underperforming or difficult-to-manage websites for businesses that need a stronger online presence. Better design, clearer messaging, improved structure, mobile refinement and stronger SEO foundations - without losing the parts of your existing website that still work.

A redesign should do more than make your website look newer.

A website redesign is not just about changing colours, swapping images or making things feel more modern. Done properly, it is a chance to improve how your website communicates, how visitors move through it and how search engines understand it.

Many older websites start to feel cluttered, dated or difficult to manage because the business has changed around them. Services evolve, content gets added in the wrong places, pages become inconsistent and the site no longer reflects the quality of the business behind it.

That is where a considered redesign can make a real difference. I look at the website as a whole - design, structure, messaging, user journey, mobile behaviour, calls to action and SEO - then rebuild it into something clearer, more credible and easier to grow.

When a website redesign makes sense.

Your website looks dated The design no longer reflects the quality of your business, brand, services or current position in the market.
Your services are not clear enough Visitors arrive on the site but struggle to understand what you offer, who you help or what they should do next.
The mobile experience is weak The site may technically be responsive, but the layout, spacing, navigation or calls to action do not feel properly refined on smaller screens.
Your SEO structure needs improving Important services may be hidden, thinly explained or grouped together in a way that limits search visibility.
The site is hard to update Pages are awkward to edit, layouts are inconsistent or every small change feels more difficult than it should.
The website no longer supports your goals Your business has moved on, but the website has not kept up with your current services, audience, pricing, positioning or ambitions.

What I improve during a redesign.

Visual design A cleaner, more modern and more professional look that feels aligned with your brand and audience.
Website structure Clearer page hierarchy, service sections, internal links and navigation so users can find what they need quickly.
Mobile experience Layouts, spacing, buttons, menus and content blocks refined properly across desktop, tablet and mobile.
SEO foundations Better headings, page focus, FAQs, schema recommendations, internal linking and content structure.
Calls to action Clearer enquiry routes, contact prompts and conversion points placed where they make sense.
Editing and growth Practical WordPress layouts that are easier to maintain, update and expand after launch.

Redesigning without throwing everything away.

A good redesign does not automatically mean starting again from nothing. Sometimes an existing website has valuable pages, rankings, content, images, blog posts or brand elements that should be kept and improved rather than discarded.

I can review what is already working and what needs to change. That might mean keeping useful content, improving existing service pages, restructuring navigation, modernising the visual style, tidying mobile layouts or rebuilding the website more thoroughly in WordPress.

The aim is to create a better website without damaging the useful foundations you already have. Where existing pages have search value, I think carefully about URLs, redirects, internal links and content continuity.

Website redesign for service-led businesses.

Most of the websites I redesign are for businesses where trust, clarity and expertise matter. That includes consultants, clinics, professional services, local businesses, property brands, travel companies, agencies and independent organisations.

These websites need to do more than look attractive. They need to explain services clearly, build confidence, answer common questions and guide visitors towards making an enquiry.

That is why I focus on content structure as much as visual design. Strong redesign work is about making the whole website easier to understand, easier to use and easier to trust.

My website redesign process.

Every redesign is different, but the process is usually built around understanding what is already there, what is not working and what the new website needs to achieve.

Review the existing website I look at the current design, page structure, content, mobile behaviour, user journey, calls to action and obvious SEO issues.
Plan the improved structure We decide what needs to stay, what needs to change, which pages are missing and how the website should be organised.
Redesign the key layouts I create a more polished visual direction with clearer sections, better hierarchy, stronger content flow and improved calls to action.
Build, refine and launch The redesigned website is built properly, checked across devices, refined for usability and prepared for launch with sensible SEO considerations.

Redesign or rebuild?

Sometimes a website only needs a focused redesign. Other times, the cleaner and more sensible option is to rebuild the site properly, especially if the existing theme, plugins, page builder setup or structure is holding everything back.

I can help you decide what makes sense. If the current website has a solid foundation, we can improve it. If it has become difficult to manage, slow, messy or structurally weak, rebuilding it may be the better long-term option.

Either way, the aim is the same: a website that feels more professional, communicates more clearly and gives you a stronger platform for future content, SEO and business growth.

Website redesign with SEO in mind.

A redesign can be risky if SEO is ignored. Changing page structures, deleting useful content, altering URLs or simplifying too much can affect visibility if the process is not handled carefully.

I approach redesign projects with search structure in mind. That includes page hierarchy, headings, internal links, service content, FAQs, schema recommendations, redirects where needed and making sure important topics are not accidentally buried or removed.

The best redesigns improve both the appearance of the website and the way it is understood by users and search engines.

Website redesign FAQs.

Do I need a redesign or a completely new website? It depends on the condition of your current website. If the structure and platform are still solid, a redesign may be enough. If the site is difficult to manage, slow, messy or technically limiting, a rebuild may be the better option.
Can you redesign an existing WordPress website? Yes. I can redesign existing WordPress websites, including sites built with Divi, custom layouts or other WordPress setups.
Will I lose my existing content? Not necessarily. Useful content can often be kept, improved, reorganised or expanded. The redesign process should protect what is valuable while improving what is weak.
Can a redesign help with SEO? Yes. A redesign can improve SEO foundations by creating clearer page structure, stronger service content, better headings, internal links, FAQs and a more logical user journey.
Can you improve the mobile version of my website? Yes. Mobile refinement is a key part of the redesign process, including spacing, layout stacking, navigation, buttons, readability and call-to-action placement.
Can you support the website after the redesign? Yes. I can continue helping with updates, new pages, blog formatting, SEO improvements, technical fixes and ongoing WordPress support.
