AR Windows. Full website reset and SEO rebuild.
A local windows, doors and glazing business needed more than a visual refresh. AR Windows needed a proper digital takeover, a rebuilt website, stronger SEO foundations and a platform they could finally feel proud to send customers to.
A business that deserved a better website.
AR Windows is a family-run business providing windows, doors, rooflights, skylights, blinds, conservatories and glazing services across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.
Tara and Jordan came to me after feeling frustrated with a website that did not reflect the quality of their work, did not give them the control they needed and did not provide the right foundation for search visibility or future growth.
The project quickly became more than a redesign. It became a full digital reset, including migration, hosting, technical cleanup, SEO structure, page rebuilding, content rewriting, analytics setup and a clearer plan for how the business could grow online.
The first job was to take back control.
Before the design work could properly begin, the technical foundation had to be sorted. The website, hosting, domain setup, email records and tracking all needed careful review.
The challenge.
AR Windows had a website, but it was not giving the business the professional presence it needed. The design did not fully reflect the quality of the company, the content was not structured strongly enough for SEO and the wider setup lacked the clarity required for proper management.
This is a common problem for small businesses. A website can exist online, but still fail to act as a useful sales, trust and search asset.
The objectives.
This was not just a new look. It was a rebuild.
The work focused on design, structure, technical setup and the kind of content foundations that help a local business turn its website into a genuine source of enquiries.
Turning a weak structure into a stronger website system.
The new AR Windows website was planned around what customers actually need to find: core services, trust signals, simple contact routes, reviews, clear local relevance and information that helps them make an enquiry.
Homepage and service structure.
The homepage was rebuilt to give visitors a clearer overview of what AR Windows offers, with strong routes into the main services including windows, doors, rooflights, skylights, blinds, conservatories, roofline products and related glazing services.
Each key service was treated as part of a wider SEO structure rather than just a small section on one page. This gives the website a better foundation for search visibility and future expansion.
Content rewritten for clarity.
The content was rewritten to be clearer, more useful and more search-friendly, without making the site feel overcomplicated.
The aim was to explain services properly, answer common customer questions and give Google a much clearer understanding of what AR Windows does and where the business operates.
SEO had to be built into the site from the start.
A redesign on its own is not enough. The site needed proper metadata, internal linking, page structure, sitemap thinking and tracking so performance could be measured after launch.
Search foundations.
The old and new sitemap structures were reviewed so the new website could keep what mattered, remove what was unnecessary and create a cleaner structure for the future.
Page titles, SEO titles, meta descriptions, headings and internal links were considered as part of the build, helping each page serve both visitors and search engines more effectively.
Analytics and visibility.
Analytics and search tools were set up properly so the website would no longer be a blind spot.
Google Search Console, analytics tracking and review integration all form part of the wider digital foundation, giving AR Windows a clearer picture of how the site is performing and where future improvements can be made.
Trust signals needed to be more visible.
For a local home improvement business, trust is vital. Customers need to feel confident before they ask for a quote, especially when projects involve their home.
Reviews and reassurance.
The new site was designed to make reviews, contact details and customer reassurance much easier to find.
Rather than hiding trust signals away, Google reviews and key customer reassurance points were brought into the page structure so visitors can see evidence of credibility while they browse.
Clear calls to action.
The contact journey was simplified with stronger calls to action for quote requests, phone calls and general enquiries.
This matters because a successful small business website should not just look better. It should help more of the right visitors take the next step.
The project became a complete digital reset.
Once the main website was rebuilt, the wider opportunity became clear. AR Windows now had a base that could support ongoing marketing, not just a replacement website.
Technical cleanup and migration.
The project included moving the site into a better managed environment, reviewing domain and DNS setup, checking email records and making sure the business had a more reliable technical foundation.
This type of work is not always visible on the front end, but it is essential if a business wants proper ownership, support and future control.
Future marketing plan.
With the website in a stronger position, the next phase can include local SEO content, blog posts, social media, business cards, leave-behind flyers and further brand consistency across customer touchpoints.
The website now gives Tara and Jordan a platform they can build on, rather than something they have to work around.
